Mix that with super grippy Intact® rubber, a 35mm clip fit, a generous cleat box and a protective cage, and you'll understand why the Vectal is so much more than a MTB shoe. - Afton's patented Intact® rubber traction meets the demands of durability when you're not cleated. - An oversized cleat box with 5mm of travel allows for all kinds of cleat configurations. - Ranging in thickness from 4mm to 12mm, the shank is specifically designed to transfer power to the pedal while allowing you to walk as normally as possible. - The toe and heel sole help maintain contact with the bike. - A velcro strap allows the wearer to adjust the shoe to their needs. - Nubuck leather and synthetic nubuck leather are laminated with nylon for increased durability. - 4mm foam tongue protects during deflection with elastic supports holding it in place. - Reinforced toe cap with a protective PU strap that prevents the shoe from flexing and protects the toes from impact and shock. - Reinforced heel provides excellent fit and protection. - Ventilated toe and Velcro strap areas, both with an inner mesh that keeps dust out but induces cool air into the shoe when you're on the move and allows ventilation when you're stationary. - The insole, moulded foam and antimicrobial for odour control, has the right heel and arch support to keep the arch in place after use.
