Magnetic snap closure
Cleverly placed magnets allow for easy closure and storage of the solar unit when not in use. These same magnets are also useful when placing the solar panel on a metal object.

Dual Function LEDs
4 conveniently located LEDs with dual display function: LEDs (lit)
: Measures the quality/intensity of available sunlight, allowing for optimal sunlight placement; Capture LEDs (flashing): Displays the rate at which your device is charging (and will only deliver the required level of charge a device needs).

Power Junction
Access solar generated power via a standard USB connection. When not in use, simply seal it with a gentle touch to the rubber access cover and your solar unit will be water resistant with an IP65 rating.

Premium solar cells
Sunpower Maxeon GEN 5 solar panels are used which feature monocrystalline cells to enable high module efficiency. These are the same panels used by NASA.

Smart Chip Technology
Advanced integrated chip technology allows Knog solar panels to sense improving solar conditions and automatically restart the charging process to allow the device to obtain the optimum charging current in every circumstance.

Rugged D-ring.
Convenient D-ring accessory allows for convenient storage or top location for maximum sun absorption.

ETFE Coating
Our solar unit is coated with ETFE, which is considered the leading industrial coating that offers unparalleled protection against; heat, water, salt, oil, dirt and anything else the outdoors can throw at it.
